Dim Lighting
« on: July 26, 2011, 08:29:39 pm »
Hi all. A big thank you to all the orginizers and folks who brought thier games in.
I had an absulute blast. I can't believe how nuts I went over the pinball games this year.
Normally I'm a video game guy but the pinball bug hit hard this year.
I only have one request that I think would make the convention a lot more fun next year.
Could we please get a little bit more ambient light? Having dark mood lighting is cool but half the fun of enjoying these games is getting to appreciate the cabinet artwork.
One of the nicest moments in there was the 3 minutes between when the house lights came on Saturday night and all the games got turned off.
Also, it's now almost impossible to shoot video in there. If you look at youtuibe videos from this year and 2010 you will see a conciderable difference in lighting.
Lastly, there was barely enough light to check out the vender's wares. I think you'd get more happy vendors if thier booths were better lit.
All in all, I still had a blast though and will certainly be back next year.
