Continue to receive an adjust failure when machine is turned on to play. Machine is then reset to factory setting and we are able to use machine. I have followed the manuals instructions to rest but problem continues.

This happens when the batteries die.  Open the back box and you should find the batteries (AA) there.  Put in some fresh batteries and it should be able to remember again.  If the batteries leaked, the battery holder will need to be replaced as well, and any further corrosion repaired.
