I thought this would be good information for all those people visiting CE from out of state. Starting July 1 in California, it is illegal to talk on your cell phone while driving, unless you use a hands free device, like a bluetooth headset. So if you are coming to CE and will either be driving in from out of state or possibly renting a car when you fly in, don't forget to bring your hands free device for your cell phone. We don't want anyone getting a ticket or worse!

Yes, you are right. It is illegal to talk on your cell phone while driving, unless you use a hands free device, like a blue tooth headset.

Texting as well. Best just not to have your cell phone in your hand at all while behind the wheel...Though lord knows I've seen hundreds of people who should have received tickets who haven't. California Law Enforcement is loosing so much money by not enforcing the law as strictly.
